✈️ How to Sleep Well While Traveling: My Go-To Sleep Travel Kit

Let’s be real — travel sleep hits different. One minute you're enjoying beach sunsets or catching flights, and the next you're lying awake in an unfamiliar bed wondering why the A/C sounds like a freight train.

Whether you're staying in hotels, crashing in guest rooms, or road-tripping cross-country, getting quality sleep while traveling can be a challenge. But with the right tools and a few simple hacks, you can sleep like a pro anywhere. Here’s how I do it:

🧳 The Sleep Struggles Are Real

Between jet lag, strange mattresses, inconsistent lighting, and hotel hallway noise (why are people always yelling at 2 a.m.?), travel sleep is usually far from ideal. Your body’s internal clock is thrown off, your comfort items are back home, and let’s not even talk about those flat hotel pillows. 😵‍💫

But here’s the good news: you can still get great sleep on the go — with a little prep.

💤 My Must-Have Sleep Travel Kit

These are the items I never travel without:

✨ Silk Eye Mask

Blocks out early sunrises and weird lighting in hotel rooms. A total lifesaver for light-sensitive sleepers.

✨ Lavender Spray or Roller

A few spritzes on the pillow or a dab on your wrists helps signal to your brain: it’s sleep time. Bonus — it makes any space feel a little more like home.

✨ White Noise App

I use a free app on my phone to drown out hallway chatter, elevator dings, and snoring neighbors. Instant peace.

✨ My Vibe Memory Foam Pillow

Yes, I actually bring it when I can. It’s supportive, breathable, and way better than whatever pancake pillow most hotels provide.

Pro tip: If you're tight on luggage space, roll your pillow into a compression bag! Get your Vibe Essential Gel Memory Foam Pillow today! vibezzz.io/N4arGh

🔁 Resetting After You Get Home

Getting back into your sleep groove post-trip can take a few days. Here's what helps me:

  • Stick to your usual bedtime (even if you're tempted to scroll until midnight).

  • Avoid long naps — even after red-eyes.

  • Dim your lights and power down devices early to help your body reset.

  • Hydrate and get some morning sun to regulate your circadian rhythm.
